TTEMAS, incorporated by Act No. 8 of 2000 of the Parliament of Trinidad and Tobago is a non-profit, non- governmental, industrial emergency response organization committed to delivering industrial emergency preparedness and response services.

TTEMAS is about people dedicated to the provision of mutual aid to its members and the wider community in the event of major incidents.

Since its creation in 1983 June TTEMAS has fostered the belief that informed members can better serve industry needs. And while TTEMAS was formed as an emergency response group, its emphasis is also on prevention and mitigation. And so TTEMAS believes that its members can only fulfill their purpose if the minimum conditions of membership are met by individual member industries and agencies. These conditions are largely based on the general principles of a Responsible CAER Program.
